Hello! My name is Abigal and I am a teenager seamstress who lives in America. I make costumes from the 18th and 19th centuries.
Hi, guys! My name is Abigal and this my first post on Petticoats, Panniers, and Plots, a blog on books (mostly historical), sewing (also primarily historical), historical movies and history! Okay, that was a mouthful! Pretty much this blog is focused on history through reviewing history related books, making historical clothing and discussing historical movie adaptations .I know it seems like a melting pot of everything history but if you want to you can see it as a history blog with a flair for sewing!
To kick start my blog ribbon cutting (metaphorical of course!) I am going to answer a few questions about myself.
Have you ever blogged before?
Why yes! I co-own a young adult book blog called Y.A. by Y.A. Although I still write on that blog, I really want to dedicate my time to my new one (this blog you are reading right now!!). I feel like I’m going to get a lot of satisfaction out of this blog that I did not with my last blog. But I still love, love, love my old (book) blog and feel really connected to it. That is why I am not giving up on it completely!
If you could go back in time, what time period would you go too?
The 1770s, 17780s, 1830s, and 1880s
The 1770s, 17780s, 1830s, and 1880s
Who is your favorite queen currently?
This one is so difficult! I went through a Marie Antoinette phase but I am currently interested in Queen Victoria. Overall, they are both great and extremely fascinating!
Favorite king?
Louie the XIV
Versailles or Buckingham Palace?
Versailles, duh!
Thank you guys so much for reading my first post!
